1. Durood Ibrahim (Durood-e-Ibrahimi) – The Best Durood
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Muhammadin, kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala ali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidum Majeed.
Allahumma barik ‘ala Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Muhammadin, kama barakta ‘ala Ibrahima wa ‘ala ali Ibrahima, innaka Hamidum Majeed.
English Translation:
“O Allah, bestow Your blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have bestowed blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.”
2. Durood-e-Nariya
Arabic Text:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ صَلَاةً كَامِلَةً ❁ وَسَلِّمْ سَلَامًا تَامًّا ❁ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ الَّذِي تَنْحَلُّ بِهِ الْعُقَدُ ❁ وَتَنْفَرِجُ بِهِ الْكُرَبُ ❁ وَتُقْضَىٰ بِهِ الْحَوَائِجُ ❁ وَتُنَالُ بِهِ الرَّغَائِبُ وَحُسْنُ الْخَوَاتِمِ ❁ وَيُسْتَسْقَى الْغَمَامُ بِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ ❁ وَعَلىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ ❁ فِي كُلِّ لَمْحَةٍ وَنَفَسٍ بِعَدَدِ كُلِّ مَعْلُومٍ لَكَ
Transliteration:
Allāhumma ṣalli ṣalātan kāmilatan, wa sallim salāman tāman, ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadin illadhī tanḥallu bihi l-ʿuqad(u), wa tanfariju bihi l-kurab(u), wa tuqḍā bihi l-ḥawā’ij(u), wa tunālu bihi r-raghā’ibu wa ḥusnu l-khawātim(i), wa yustasqa l-ghamāmu bi-wajhihi l-karīm(i), wa ʿalā ālihi wa ṣaḥbihi fī kulli lamḥatin wa nafasin bi-ʿadadi kulli mʿalūmin lak(a).
English Translation:
O Allah, send a perfect prayer and complete greeting of peace upon our master Muhammad — the one by whom problems are solved, and anxieties are relieved, and needs are fulfilled, and aspirations are attained and good endings are received, and by whose noble face the clouds give rain — and upon his Family and Companions, with every glance and every breath, by the number of everything that is known to You.
3. Durood-e-Fateh
Arabic Text:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ الْفَاتِحِ لِمَا أُغْلِقَ ❁ وَالْخَاتِمِ لِمَا سَبَقَ ❁ نَاصِرِ الْحَقِّ بِالْحَقِّ ❁ وَالْهَادِي إِلَىٰ صِرَاطِكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ❁ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَمِقْدَارِهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration:
Allahumma ṣalli ʿalā Sayyidinā Muḥammadini l-Fātiḥi limā ughliq(a), wa l-khātimi limā sabaq(a), nāṣiri l-ḥaqqi bi l-ḥaqq(i), wa l-hādī ilā ṣirāṭika l-mustaqīm(i), wa ʿalā ālihi ḥaqqa qadrihi wa miqdārihi l-ʿaẓīm.
English Translation:
O Allah, send prayers upon our master Muhammad, the opener of what was closed, and the seal of what had preceded, the helper of the truth by the Truth, and the guide to Your straight path. May Allah send prayers upon his Family according to his greatness and magnificent rank.
4. Durood-e-Shafi’i
Arabic:
اَللّٰھ۔ُمَّ صَلِ ّعَلٰی سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ کُلَّمَا ذَکَرَہُ الذَّاکِرُوْنَ وَکُلَّمَا غَفَلَ عَنْ ذِکِرْہِ الْغَافِلُوْنَ
Transliteration:
Allahuma salli ala Muhammadin Kullama Zakrahuj Zakiruna wa Kullama Ghafl un Zikrihil Ghafiloon.
English Translation:
“O Allah! Shower blessings on Muhammad and his children whenever he is remembered by those who remember him, and shower blessings on Muhammad and family whenever he is not remembered by the negligent, and grant him peace constantly in abundance”
5. Durood-e-Dawaami
Arabic Text:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَدَدَ مَا فِي عِلْمِ اللَّهِ صَلَوَاتًا دَائِمَةً بِدَوَامِ مُلْكِ اللَّهِ
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadiw wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina Muhammadin ‘adada ma fi ‘ilmi Allah, salawatan da’imatan bidawami mulkillah.
English Translation:
“O Allah, send blessings upon our master Muhammad and upon the family of our master Muhammad, as numerous as all that exists in Your knowledge, with continuous blessings lasting as long as Your kingdom remains.”
6. DUROOD-E-TUNAJJINA
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ سَيِّدِنَا وَمَوْلَانَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَاةً تُنَجِّيْنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْأَهْوَالِ وَالْآفَاتِ وَتَقْضِي لَنَا بِهَا جَمِيْعَ الْحَاجَاتِ وَتُطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَتَرْفَعُنَا بِهَا أَعْلَى الدَّرَجَاتِ وَتُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا أَقْصَى الْغَايَاتِ مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina wa Maulana Muhammadiw wa ‘ala aali Sayyidina wa Maulana Muhammadin salatan tunajjina biha min jami’il ahwaali wal’afati wa taqdilana biha min jami’il haajaati wa tu tahhiruna biha min jami’is sayyi aati watar fa’una biha a’lad darajati wa tuballighuna biha aqsal ghaayati min jami’il khayrati fil hayati waba’dal mamaati innaka ‘ala kulli shay in qadeer.
English Translation:
“O Allah! Shower blessings on Muhammad, our Master, and his Family such blessings by means of which Thou may relieve us of all anxieties and calamities. Thou may satisfy all our needs. Thou may clean us of all evils and thanks for which Thou may grant us high position and high rank and status in Thy presence, and Thou may lead us to the utmost limit of our aspirations and capacity in whatever is best in this world as well as in the world Hereafter, as Thou has the full Power over everything”
7. Durood-e-Qurani
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ بِعَدَدِ مَا فِي جَمِيعِ الْقُرْآنِ حَرْفًا حَرْفًا وَبِعَدَدِ كُلِّ حَرْفٍ أَلْفًا أَلْفًا
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli wasallim ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadiw wa ‘ala aali wa ashabi bi ‘adada ma fi jami’il Qur’aani harfan harfan wabi ‘adadi kulli harfin alfan alfan.
English Translation:
“O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, as numerous as every letter in the entire Quran, and for each letter a thousand times a thousand.”
8. Durood-e-Sadaqah
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin ‘abdika wa rasoolika wa salli ‘alal mu’mineena wal mu’minaati wal muslimeena wal muslimaat.
English Translation:
“O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, Your servant and messenger, and send blessings upon the believing men and believing women, and the Muslim men and Muslim women.”
9. Durood-e-Wali
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَبَارِكْ وَسَلِّمْ
Transliteration:
Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadin an-Nabiyyil Ummiyy wa ‘ala aalihi wa baarik wa sallim.
English Translation:
“O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family, and bless them and grant them peace.”
10. Durood-e-Ali
Arabic:
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَبَرَكَاتِكَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Transliteration:
Allahummaj ‘al salawaatika wa barakaatika ‘ala Muhammadin an-Nabiyy wa azwaajihi ummahaatil mu’mineena wa dhurriyyatihi wa ahli baytihi kama sallayta ‘ala Ibrahima innaka Hameedum Majeed.
English Translation:
“O Allah, place Your blessings and Your favors upon Muhammad the Prophet, his wives who are the mothers of the believers, his descendants, and his household, as You placed blessings upon Ibrahim. Verily, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.”
